Margarita Grup

Margarita is an associate at Wagner Sidlofsky and a member of the firm’s Estates and Commercial Litigation Groups.

Margarita obtained her law degree from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, in 2021, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022. Prior to law school, Margarita earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society and Political Science at York University, graduating summa cum laude.

Prior to joining the firm, Margarita developed a strong foundation in trust and estate litigation at a leading trust, estate, and capacity litigation firm, where she represented clients in disputes involving wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and capacity. She also worked at a major financial institution as a senior consultant, providing advisory support on estate wealth management, estate, and trust matters.

Margarita is also fluent in Hebrew and Russian.

In her free time, Margarita enjoys sailing, skiing, travelling, and hiking with her corgi, Enzo.
