Associate
Charles is an associate at Wagner Sidlofsky, and a member of the firm’s Estates and Commercial Litigation Groups.
Drawing on his advanced training through Osgoode’s Professional Development Estate Litigation Certificate program and as a Society of Trust and Estate Planners designation candidate, he focuses his practice on complex estate planning, administration, and litigation matters, serving diverse clients from an array of social and economic backgrounds.
Charles holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights and Equity Studies with a minor in Research Methods from York University. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, where he distinguished himself as an international finalist and award-winning negotiator.
Prior to joining the firm, Charles built a thriving solo practice in the Durham Region, developing comprehensive wealth preservation strategies for business owners and professionals. His experience, combined with his role as an instructor and negotiation coach at Windsor Law, enables him to bring both strategic insight and practical solutions to challenging estate matters.
Charles actively contributes to the community through presentations on emerging estate law issues and serves as a board member of the JD Bridges Foundation, where he works to increase diversity in the legal profession.
When Charles is not immersed in estate matters, he is expanding his knowledge across countless subjects—a skill that is essential not only for keeping up with his inquisitive twin daughters but also for better understanding his clients’ diverse needs and interests.
